Description
Probation and parole officers constantly deal with the criminal element while navigating the stress of heavy case loads, contact quotas and the need for rapid assessment in a variety of settings, which can be extremely distracting. This course helps P&P officers stay more focused on subject behavior and helps them develop the ability to “read” people, spot offenders’ pre-attack buildups and verbally control tense interactions. In addition to enhancing those skills, we’ll also explore techniques that can identify deception and draw out truthful information.
